Divemaster Course |

The first Professional level of the PADI System. The PADI Divemaster program takes the recreational diver into a leadership role that is of course recognised and highly respected worldwide.
In addition to working alongside PADI Instructors on Open Water Courses, Divemaster candidates gain Instructor level knowledge and diving skills.
Course prerequisites
- Adventure Diver or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Submit a medical clearance for diving signed by a physician in the last 12 months
- Have completed and logged at least 20 dives.
- For certification 60 logged dives are needed.
The Course consists of 3 modules:

- The role and characteristics of a PADI Divemaster
- Supervising general diving activities for certified divers
- Assisting with student divers in training
- Dive theory instruction
- Physics, Physiology and Equipment
- Decompression theory and dive tables
- Divemaster conducted programs
- Risk Management
- Business of diving
- Further your dive career
Waterskills and Stamina
- Basic swimming skills
- Rescue Assessment and Development
- Confined Water Skills (20 basic scuba skills trained to demonstration standard)
